There are/were 3 Cruzes at my local dealer in Smalltown Boonies, PA ( ). One has the 1.4T. The Eco model is coming later, supposedly because it uses some of the same trim panels and things as the Volt?

...yes, I (we) have one, an LTZ model.
...hey, can one of the Admins change the title of this thread to "2011 Cruze -- anybody ELSE got one?"...might clarify things.

My coworker bought one after he wrecked his Aveo (he mostly picked it cause he's accident prone and wanted a car with knee airbags).
Anywho, seems like a nice car so far. His has the 1.8L, no turbo.

I need to get my mom into one for the spring/summer/fall months. Her Trailblazer isn't too efficient, and her economy car was totaled last year.
Why do I have parents who have gas guzzling cars? And one who is the picturesque American, not wanting a small car?

...the Eco model is economical--on the highway--but only if you accept "rowing" your way through its' six gears as you drive.
...city milage isn't spectacular, only 28, and then only if you drive with a feather foot.
...so far, only the Eco seems to be getting anywhere near its' EPA numbers.

None on Fuelly yet.
I wonder how many are waiting for the eco version?

My mother in law ended up getting a LTZ (I think) with the 1.4 turbo. She didn't want to wait for the eco - none available around here.
Regarding the other folks online not reaching the EPA numbers, remember the time of year this car is being released - I'm getting 15% below my spring/summer/fall numbers now too. I'm sure they'll be better when it's warmer. I'm still suspicious that GM was fudging their aero numbers that were provided to the EPA. 32 in the equinox seems crazy.

I hate to say it but...
Why would you buy a Cruze for a small car?
I just picked up a '11 Honda Civic, that gets better mileage, will last longer and cost about 5K less brand new.
The American Government gets enough of my money, no need to give it to them for a car as well.
