That's pretty good considering how tall/stubby it is.
Once again, no wheel skirts on the rear wheels? Low hanging fruit is there.

The Bolt is the first BEV that has my interest.
I'll have to sit tight and see how it shakes out over the next couple years.
P.S. Not real big on the name, as it immediately reminds me of something from the hardware store.
Jim.

If I had one I'd name it Boltz.
I believe EVTV has preemptively declared it a winner. They can't wait for the junkyards to fill up with chargers and heaters, etc.

Bolt
If GM doesn't just buy a controlling interest in Tesla, take it over, and fire Musk,at least it is pushing in the right places.200-miles and $30,000 is remarkable!
They've got neural-network CFD and a world class tunnel to refine things over time as well.Low cost leader?
And GM's been to Cd 0.14 before. Not a newcomer to low drag.

Now there's a thought.
Does GM have the cash on hand that Apple has? Perhaps they'd do better to jump on Hyperloop.

I don't know what their present economic situation is.GM does have a prior history of acquisitions. There are a lot of ways to do deals if one is motivated.
As soon as hydrogen fuel cell cars come on the market, some say,Tesla is doomed. They lose money on every car they sell, making profits only from carbon trading credits from their zero-emission vehicles, which comes to an end in the near future.
The Fremont,California (CALTI) plant may look attractive to somebody.

I agree - at least they should offer smooth flat wheels as an option. They have talked about trying to avoid anything weird or too scientific looking.
The Bolt EV (which is its full name) has room for four 6'-5"+ tall people, so that puts it high the list for my family. I dislike the regen scheme, though - no free wheel coasting.
