There's a demon inside this engine that rips apart viscosity modifier molecules.

I'm still changing the winter oil around 3,000 to 4,000 and I'll add 1/2qt 20w-50 after about 1,000 miles.

Anything getting hot enough to refine? Got oil temp monitoring?

Problem is the oil doesn't get hot enough and during the winter it loads up with fuel and it has a coolant to oil heat exchanger. The first oil test I did had 5% fuel.
I changed the oil this last time after the cars engine was still hot from driving a 700 to 800 mile road trip.

Believe it's a 2L Nu gdi.
I don't know what else uses that engine.
