I would think long and hard about that carpet removal. Yeah, it's a decent amount of weight, but how much noisier will it be?
Wonder if toyota would look at this as an opportunity to make a few aftermarket dollars. Seems like there would be a good market more this sort of stuff.

I learned to drive in a 1985 Nissan pickup with no sound insulation and vinyl floor. It will be just like old times!

Wow... great stuff! I need to find a way to mount some pizza pans on the P71 wheels I snagged for my Crown Vic. I could probably anchor them to the outer trim ring.
Also, hello from around 100 miles to the west.

Since I've been moonlighting with Uber occasionally, I unfortunately can't remove the rear seats at the moment. But once I get tired of that, they'll be fair game.

I know Pekin well! A company I used to work for restored the organ in the Lutheran church downtown a couple years ago; I ended up doing most of the voicing on that project.

Not an aeromod, but I Plastidipped the emblem backings today to match the wheel covers:
I also bought a hole saw yesterday so I can make some access holes in my wheel covers for checking tire pressure. After that will be a lawn edging airdam.

Lawn edge air dam
I would Not do the air dam. it will add frontal area to the car. your under tray is designed to allow air to pass efficiently enough. Wish could find the post that said this. Air dams are good if there is a lot of under car openings. You might want an air dam at the front and rear tires like the early Insights.

There's a page here somewhere on "SPATS" (air dams in front of tires).
