No vtec, still cool. This is more for the non-ecomodders, but I'll share here too. (If you've been following the thread, it's nothing you haven't already seen)

Thanks,
Victor

Too kind, my man! Thank you! It does make me smile every time! She's not ugly at all, but she could use a little lipstick and what not..

I do love my Skiddy! I've had a few people stop me in the last month if I would sell her HA! I actually started laughing both times, it was a great ego boost! The second guy actually wanted to talk numbers - had me laughing even harder (no poker face at all)! I invited both to check out her thread here ( I'm sure they both laughed at me in their heads)...

Either way, not for sale. I still dream of a second Wagon, 4rt next time, factory 5spd! Help me! I've got a sickness

Thanks,
Victor

I thought I'd get the new (old) block cleaned up a little better, so I took it off the stand (finally!)and threw it into the blast cabinet. Thought I'd share the results after round one (if you haven't seen the before pic of the block, it's last appearance was on page 13 - or http://ecomodder.com/forum/showthrea...ots-30442.html)

So, here's the block - don't know when I'll have time for round two (but I am on layoff / lack of work so we'll see!)

Front:

Timing Belt / Water Pump side:

Bell housing side - OOPS - I'll hit it hard in round 2:

Back:

Right now, I'm thinking of powdercoating the block just like the tranny - we'll see what I can make happen ( if it's free, I'm doing it! )

That's enough for today, I'm hungry Skiddy drives, so this motor will be built at my "leisure" anyway. That doesn't mean tax time isn't right around the corner - be patient, Skiddy...

Thanks,
Victor

Sure, MURPHY, dork with his laws.
I told the world I'd have time to play in the garage and then work calls! ( don't get me wrong, I need the money! ). I'm a slave to the almighty dollar

haven't even got to round two for the block in the blast cabinet.

Ok then, Saturday! Hand throttle and kill switch will go in. I just got a little inspirational "fire lit under my @$$" in the coolest way - the ecomodder.com FRONT PAGE! (Also got word the old lady's going to be busy with the little one, so game on!)

I'll pick up the goodies and share my progress Saturday night.
Until then, modders!

Thanks,
Victor

Please share especially about your hand throttle, I thought about doing one with my insight! Would be a great alternative to cruise control.
