both are quite lameee. transmission already needs replaced so im going to try and clean it out. i know exactly where the vss is but not sure how it exactly comes off. i think i had it off when i was refilling trans with fluid. but ended up filling it from the side hole instead and not the vss route

possible i didnt reinstall it right.
other one is o2 sensor one of my worst fears. since it does look fairly new i am going to rent the o2 socket remover again and try blowtorching it and air compressing it clean. if not a new one later it is

torched the o2 sensor a lil bit and air compressed it. got it decently cleaned off.

going to research more find out if this is the right one. it just says l1h1 japan CS and 3 ovals next to it on the top silver part.

on the bolt area it has the digits 4221

Yeah that is some odd ball one 02. Mine is also that's why the last owner only got a year and a half out of it. They never seem to clean and work. Clear the codes and see if they return. Make sure the vss connector is clean and fully plugged in.

I had some mean hesitation problems with my VX. The guy that eventually found the fix said it was a "dirty throttle body". Apparently he just cleaned it. I didn't have any problems after that.

Hope that helps and you get to 50+ mpgs!

i got the ntk replacement for 189. part numbers matched up right. looks different then the one already on the car. not just the cleanliness but the tip of the sensor looked different. replaced it and have had a smooth ride since. bout to run whats left in the tank since i put a little bit of seafoam thru it again a few days ago. then get a full tank and check how much better the mpg is.

Ntk #24300 oxygen sensor

iv cleaned the throttle body pretty decently. the throttle is still sumwhat jerky tho just a little bit. not sure if its TB related. but iv taken the whole thing off before and cleaned it. and about a week ago i spray some sea foam deep on the plate area too

didnt realize my dog was in background til after i posted this lol
