im relooking on car-part.com and sorted by grade. actually finding some more decent ones for better prices. they don't list the miles but they say that their in A condition. just going to have to have it shipped. hopefully I can find one in good shape. maybe they wont need the core trans back. and I can scrap the one I have now. if not I wont complain

driving down the road two lug nut bolts broke off. got it towed to my mechanic. he fixed it for dirt cheap and the tow was cheap. replacing both calipers, brake pads, and rotors right now. ordering a VX transmission tomorrow as well

Make sure it is really a vx trans. There is no way to tell from looking or from numbers. Good luck. You can try your local junkyard they can sometimes locate and gave one shipped cheaper than you and then if there is a problem they are real people not just phone and email.

I thought u could tell from the stamp on the side of it?

300 bucks. with 6k miles on it. yupp 6k miles on it. ima call them double check make sure its the right stamp. 160 to ship it to the shop nearby my house where they will cherry pick it onto the back of my dodge then bring it back to the house and put it in.

my question is should I rebuild the z6 transmission in there now and resell it? or just scrap it?

Nope # mean nothing and I really doubt that it only has 6k miles on it.

The only thing the # will tell you is big or small bearing trans. A small bearing b big bearing trans. You could try to sell the si trans on cl tell them input bearing is bad you might get 50-100 for it. People want those. Possibly fixed 150$. Don't know never looked for one.
