Safe travels, Phil! Enjoy the journey.

elhigh - not too late. We can keep accepting donations until probably the end of next week.

Darko said they're going to invoice Phil, so we have time to collect until then, transfer the funds to Tim's bank and then mail a cheque out to Phil.

ONE WEEK!

I can't really afford much (read: any.) All my money goes to textbooks and gas.

The nearest computer that I know of will be at my brothers in Carson City,NV on the 10th.I don't have a hot-spot,tablet,or laptop.
I'll look for a public library in Wendover,UT/NV.
My new travel phone is 940-600-3295.I barely know how to operate it,but its a start.
I'll be at Bonneville starting on the 6th,and will probably park near the starting line for the long-course.I don't know where I'll be staying as my friend Gary will be there and he's pretty much done with camping.
Give me a call and we'll figure out a rallying point.
Mexican food sounds great. And if the restaurant has gone to restaurant heaven there's always the Salt Flats Cafe.

I dug my phone out and it's charging. T-Mobile doesn't like it but their name is right on the front bezel. I plan to start driving at Midnight, to arrive around mid-day.

I need to sleep on the Salt, out of respect for Burt Munro.

Wishing you the best!

Phil, this is your time. All your hard work will pay off when you get that "delta" Cd number and you see the smoke. We all wish we could be in that tunnel with you. We will be there in spirit and you have apply named your truck the "Spirit of Ecomodder". We all have gained from you sharing your vast knowledge with us already.

Kudos to all the members who made a donation and a big one to MetroMPG for making it all happen. You and Freebeard have fun!

Man, sounds like I'll just miss the fun in Utah. I fly in on the 10th for a race at Miller Motorsports Park on the 11-13th. It'll all be over by then.

Does look like there is an event at Bonneville that weekend, we have Sunday off, might have to go check it out.
