Yes, the Navi is available in Mexico and other markets. It was designed in India and is built there. The funny thing is that the Navi is no longer sold in India because it does meet their emission standards. (BS6 - similar to Euro V)

I remember those 500cc Royal Enfield thumpers were phased out for the very same reason.

Replaced by the new unit construction 350cc single and 650cc twin. I doubt to many people will miss that old 500cc single.

The last 500cc was also unit-construction.

Yes it was but I still doubt they will be missed.

The 401cc Himalayan is an oddball to me. I'm not sure why they bothered to create a unique 401cc single for it when they have the new 350cc single and have confirmed a 650cc Himalayan

Those who look for the more utilitarian nature of a thumper might still be well served by the 350cc which remains available in India. Well, maybe the 500cc will be missed by some folks, the same way the pushrod 125cc engine is often missed among conservative Honda CG buyers in my country.

Back when the Himalayan was under development, the Royal Enfield singles were only pushrod. I must confess it surprised me the Himalayan was released with that 401cc engine instead of the 500cc which at that time was already proven, and quite more dumbproof as it didn't have a timing chain to be neglected and fail.

What are the specs on that barely motorcycle? At that point, you might be better served with an E-bike.

About the same as any other 110cc scooter.

CVT, 8 hp, 110 mpg, 50 mph

Maybe for a strictly urban usage, yet in many countries other than the United States and Canada you'll see people riding such small motorcycles on the road, as it may be often the only motor vehicle their owners have at the household.

about as basic as you can get complete with manual drum brakes front and back.
Honda is just knocking it out of the park with their power sports program. I think that Navi is great, but I'd probably pay the extra $1900 or whatever for the new Trail over the Navi. Still even going into their ATV and UTV offerings I love the features and prices considering the current market. Make it simple, make it reliable, make it affordable. Hopefully these new offerings are as reliable as Hondas of the past.
