Kinda reminds me of that new proto C-7 corvette the way the back window looks like that all covered up. Nice job, I dont think you can ask much more than that from a truck your getting what most do with cars !!!!

Current aero cap configuration compared to the aero template...

Are you planning to flex rear lip down to match template, at a rough guess looks like there might be 4", maybe 10% of the height from the ground, would this translate in FE?

Here's what my tapered aero cap looks like from behind...
I don't have any plans in the near future to taper the last bit that sticks above the template. I can barely see out the back window in the current state. Dropping the back edge of the aero cap/hatch lower would make me blind back there and I'd have to install some cameras and monitors to see anything behind me. Installing a window on the hatch wouldn't provide me the visuals I require as the slope angle of the window would make it impossible to see clearly through. It's one of the compromises I need to make with my current aero cap state.
The overhang on the back is almost perfect when the hatch is up to provide a little extra shade over the tailgate when the tailgate is down.
I'm not sure how much effect the overhang has...I'm tempted to stick a Gurney flap on the end of the hatch and see what happens.

Understand the whole rear visioin thing,
Although, I have rear decked out with a storage system for tools etc so internal mirror is blind, I only use side mirrors and take more care, go slower when reversing.
It does look tempting though, that's right where the template starts to angle more steeply, almost within reach of that little phantom tail on the tip.

Had this crazy idea of putting some extendable rails coming off the aero cap main rails fer a boat tail support.
To deploy them, I would pull the rails out and secure them.
Attach a framed boat tail and cover the frame with some flexible material (cloth) at that point and use my trailer light hook up fer any tail lights on the back end.
Move the license plate as needed.
I'll see what my brain can think up of...or any ideas y'all can come up with, too!
Thinking about doing the same thing fer extending my rear diffuser, too.

Had to address the tailgate seals today...
Formed a cap over the tailgate from some scrap metal stud. Screwed it in place using the screws from the tailgate protector.
Some zip ties through the cap and an aluminum bar provides the support to zip tie the seals. The zip ties holding the bar to the cap will be eventually replaced with pop rivets.
Flexible enough to not hurt you on the tailgate if yer sitting back there...
Left seal...
Right seal...
I might eventually build a new tailgate cap so it's the full width of the tailgate and pop rivet the aluminum bar just to cover the seals instead of having the aluminum bar all the way across the tailgate.

I think I may have spotted you in the wild. I-10 west approaching Pensacola some time ago (Dec or Jan). Gave the thumbs up. Maybe it wasn't you but there can't be too many T100 trucks with full aero caps and side skirts.

Yup...that was me. It would've been January 3 (Thursday) evening. Sometimes I wonder how many people will end up sending me a bill to their chiropractor fer their neck twisting around to git a look.
