This is the screen track system...
ScreenTight...
I got mine at Home Depot in Wichita during my last run and it was pretty cheap...$10 fer both top and bottom. Hopefully the window screen will hold up to the flexing...

I'm thinking about putting in some button snaps to hold the ends of the soft ducktail down to the aero cap. Not sure how long it will hold in the long run though. Might have to combine another gutter guard on top/bottom of the window screen. We'll see.

Put some Coroplast under the soft ducktail to absorb any spray through. Coated the screen pretty good and then put another layer of window screen on top of that. It's just started to rain so I'm not sure if it's gonna set or not. Guess I'll find out after I start driving...
I ended up stapling some Gorilla tape to the 2nd layer and then taping that down to the cab. I stapled the sides to the aero cap so hopefully the 2nd layer won't fly off...
As far as I can tell...there's no rain on the back window!

Looks good!
BTW, do you have a link to anything on the belly pan?

Soft ducktail held up really well. Only a little bit of water got past it when it rained going through Dallas...but at least I could see out the back without a lot of raindrops on the back window.
The duckatail does puff up as I was driving since the rubber coating cooled it in that position..kinda like what convertible tops do driving down the road. I was thinking of making a slide out version next...although it would take more engineering than I have at the moment. . Maybe the ducktail housing could be sort of a roof heat shield, too!

Pulled the hatch off the other day so I could work on the next version of the ducktail...it's gonna be a rigid sliding one. Figure I'd use some of my 20" wide aluminum flashing and secure that to the top of the cab roof so it makes a pocket. Gonna try some 4mm Coroplast as my slider as it should be able to fit in between the roof indentions the Xtra-cabs have (regular cabs don't have them). I figure it should be able to slide out about 10" to cover the gap pretty well while leaving enough in the pocket to support it. I'm gonna have to make some stops so it doesn't automatically come flying out when I'm driving down the road...
Had fun pulling up the VHB tape...
Got the sliding ducktail in place...
Currently using some Coroplast as the slider and some of aluminum flashing as the cover secured with Gorilla tape (temporary fer testing). Kinda stiff sliding it in/out. Might try a single sheet of aluminum flashing on a trial run...
Closed...
Open...
Gonna peruse craigslist fer a free washer/dryer/fridge fer the sheet metal...

Revamped the center spar by putting in a support beam so I could pull the back end down and git the center spar with a more approximate curve to it.
Here's what the back end looks like now...I still have to reshape the rear window fer my upcoming trip to Tampa, FL...
Slid in a section of aluminum flashing in place of the Coroplast ducktail...
Got some rain to test it with...you can tell I need to use an English wheel to reshape the back part of it...
