Anyone using magnets to increase milage?

Maybe you should sit down a create an organized plan for testing next spring after temps have stabilized (more or less) for the summer? Though figuring out how to mount the magnets and having them stay where you put them is a good thing....

I've usually used neo magnets in a series of 2 with a backing plate opposite the non-metallic fuel line...S facing the line.

Poster in this thread claims best to use S facing S with magnets opposite. He claims many variations on magnet positions were tested.

Just try this with a couple of larger neos.....you will need a good frame to hold them....

A frame could be made from a strap hinge bent so that after the 2 magnets were glued to the frame...it could be closed around the line...S facing S...and either taped closed or use an SS clamp to hold it closed.

For the air intake....N sides facing a non-metallic intake tube.

As far as the ceramic (weaker) vs neo (stronger) magnets being used...I've gone with the neos after trying some ceramics.

I have NOT tested magnet variations vs mpg results...just read a lot of patents and guessed a lot....

I admit I didn't read the 31 pages but what are magnets on the fuel line suppose to do? Does it catch metal in the fuel that clogs injectors or something?

It magically aligns the gasoline molecules (which are non-polar and non-magnetic) so that they burn more completely, because everyone knows that 90% of the fuel going into your engine actually goes out the tailpipe without being burned.

Generally supposed to do something like what acetone might do...break up the larger clumped fuel molecules?

When I put magnets on fuel lines I try to never remove them for fear of loosening up any iron particles that have been gathered.

yeap, that's it!!!!!

It catches them.....right where the magnet is.....all of them.....clogging up in one spot.........that's why you have to cut the fuel line every 3k miles and use a stronger magnet to pull them all out,,,,,,,,,,,kinda like clogged arteries.


Really, at least claim to read some of the pages.
