As lower body strenght is usually greater, for able-bodied drivers it's still preferable to have a brake pedal.

Throttle and brake controls could be on a steering wheel just as easily as motorcycle handlebars.
About 15 years ago the owner of an early Hyundai Accent adapted for his disability had shown me a steering wheel with a built-in accelerator ring, but the brake was actuated through a separate lever.

FUV have a regen control on the handlebars, an hydraulic foot brake, and an electric parking brake.

I'd much rather resort to a mechanical parking brake, as it would still be more reliable also as an emergency brake.

Not my favorite thing as well, noisy and it takes four seconds to cycle.

So I had pizza and beer with my contact at Arcimoto*. Some of the stuff is super-secret  but one thing he did say is they have six of the Roadsters and they are not selling.

Maybe some opportunity there.

And the steering wheel thing is a dead end.

*He declared the BLT pizza at Coburg Pizza better than what they serve in The Whitaker!

A kill switch is required to sell a motorcycle in the USA.

I didn't try any motorcycle with EFI and only kick-start yet, but I remember all the ones with electric start had a kill switch even when carburettors were the norm.

The Arcimoto family grows by one:

Flatbed, stake side, or box utility vehicle.

Of course, my first thought is pop-top camper. It would hinge at the front of the box and flip out over the front of the vehicle to keep the center of gravity the same.

Who in their right mind is going to allow that running in their warehouse? Nobody I can think of.

You are suggesting a foldable twin bed tent car top camper?

Still vaporware however.
