Google maps says that I'm a little under 6 hours away. I would be lying if I said that I wasn't extremelly tempted to do this...

Going by all out MPG there is no way I could hold a candle to some of you guys (weather spotter!), but by % over epa I might be able to make you sweat a bit. Want to do an all engine ON trip?

I can't wait for my next car, it will without a doubt be a standard transmission. I have really considered converting the neon, but the car is too rusted out for me to justify and major drivetrain changes.

I think that this would be a whole lot of fun, it is the 12 hour round trip that gets in the way.. Definitely make for an awfully long day.

I am not even sure I will be available that weekend now, our family is looking at that weekend for a get together. so you might not have to compete with me

I cannot promise that the engine will stay on the whole time

neon idk how many times i told myself my next car is going to be a standard then i fell in love with my ga auto trans, all i know that is when i get my next dd vehicle it is definitely going to have a standard even if their is a conversion to be done. Plus i got a 5 speed sitting in the drive its just not as nice as my ga

Weather Spotter: I'm also on the fence about whether I could make it. I will book the time off work just to be sure, I am tentatively saying I will be, but its certainly not guaranteed yet. If you go that might be what it takes to make me 100%, lol. I really would love to check out your car, I have been following all of your threads, you and your Matrix have been a huge inspiration to me. It would be great to see it in person. I've never actually seen a car in person with a tail yet.

Edit: And I want to compete with you! I will lose, but I still want to try ha ha.

Gealii: I swore my next car would be a standard before I got the Neon... Whoops ha ha. I couldn't pass up a car that I knew the entire history of, both previous owners, personally did the service on for most of it's life, for $500. Next time, its a 5 speed 4 door civic, and I'm sticking to it!

I can't wait for it! And I reviewed the competition I wanted to base this off of, and I woud like toswitch to percentages regarding thepenalties.

I would rather allow EOC. I mean, I won't really use it but once for the trip, but still.
