Or maybe I could finish the belly pan, get a real good run at it, and see where I end up...

That sounds good to me, then I can follow you over there, if I get lost I can blame you then! Ha ha.

if your gunna do that maybe cut the front wheel wells and add some sand paddle tires and dont forget to overinflated them so you have a chance at floating. ( being serious my buddies jeep has his 37s so overinflated he floats everywhere put some of those canoe balance things he could go over erie

I wont get lost but there mite be toll roads

How expensive are the tolls?

Ha ha I believe it, I 've heard a few stories about guys floating jeeps. Have you ever seen guys with motocross bikes and paddle tires hydroplane across water, that is a ridiculous sight to see! Wait, weren't we talking about Ohio or something..?

That sounds good to me. I booked the date off work, so I should be able to make it. Gealii, I guess we cam work out details closer to the date, but meeting up before would be awesome for me, whatever works best for you, whether that is meet up then go, or meet up there.

Related note, I really need to finish the last few sections of my belly pan and hopefully get the kamm sealing figured out. A working trunk would be a bonus.

I may not be able to make it I might be picking up a car from in Ohio, but it can only be brought back into Canada Mon-Fri from 8-4. So unless I do that, and then come back down for a second trip I will have to say that I'm out. Buying this car means I wont really have the money to do a second fun trip down to the meet. Next time.

I like this idea, but you have to do what is best for you. I hope you can make it, but no insult if you can't. Hopefully another one will come Round if it turns out well.

That's an interesting idea, but I would need someone else to come with me and find a place to stay over both saturday and sunday nights. With buying this car, money will be tight so a motel is out of the question unfortunately. As tough as finding the 2 nights, and all day sunday would be, getting another driver for the weekend would be tougher. I guess someone could come down monday morning for me, but that requires a third person to drive the second person down..

I wonder if I found a scrap yard down there to put the Neon to rest.. And only bring the new car home... Hmm

EDIT: What am I thinking, there is no reason my other driver would have to stay, they could just take the Neon home as soon as I got the new car.

If you are serious about scrapping the car, we can talk and figure out some numbers. I can give you the cash (american ) when we meet.

Hopefully that does not constitute illegally importing a car, lol.
