I made a clear front grill block on the Q45 and glued the grill logo onto it...same as he did. I kinda like the dark tinted Plexiglas he used.

Dark tinted plexi: that's actually an OEM/factory grille block specific to this 3L model, if I'm not mistaken, not DIY.

euromodder -- Front? It went thataway <==>

Yes, of course. The drawing was made for a guy with a pickup truck and I didn't want to overload him. Both sides, entry and departure angles per Thee Template.

I was mainly concerned about the construction from two U-shapes, with the belting unconstrained at it's upper end center.

What I learned last weekend is that the outer half of the spat may be redundant. The rule at Bonneville is [apparently] fences need to be longitudinal to the direction of travel. None the less, I saw examples that hug the tire on the inside and angle across the width of the tread. Like so...

Very nice indeed. A2 is a great choice for ecomodding. I never really understood why people start modding cars which have the aerodynamics of a brick.

Some progress on the audi a2 as well.

Note the rear diffuser and new front wheel skirts and aero mudflaps.

Are the aluminium rear hubs of other function than lightening of rotating mass? Do they also narrow the rear track width to improve aerodynamics?

I made a mock-up rear skirt for my A2 and seems like my rear wheels are wider from the body than this silver one.
