It's a trick of light and shadow.

Real or Photoshop?
It's literally a 'cut and paste' job.Done at 11' X 17' scale,then photo-reduced to 8-1/2 X11 help hide some of the blemishes.

It also hides the fact that you'd have to bevel the top corners of the windshield, doors and roof.

Yes,it would require serious surgery to do a proper integration into the cab.

I'm not saying it shouldn't be done!

Just graft a Superbeetle roof on there, less Bondo required.

The faux windshield and hood blister would both have to be removed before you could have access to the engine bay.I real nightmare, but it would allow verification of drag reduction if there was any.
I'm curious enough that I'd put up with the trouble for awhile.

For a couple of days,I had the Dodge Viper windshield laying on the hood blister. It doesn't have as much plan curvature as the Camaro glass, but it is DOT rated and a much easier integration onto the truck, with the blister in place. The glass is offset on the passenger side and a separate wiper/motor unit could be installed within the blister cavity.
I drove around the property with it and there actually is very little optical funny-business.
I would do a matte black treatment underneath to reduce reflections from the white paint.

Reverse alligator; else 4-bar up and forward; else attach with Buick/International Harvester hood hinges so the whole thing lifts off to expose the original hood.

Maybe some I won't think of until later.

A sheet of polycarbonate would curl into a conic section. You choose the curvatures at the top and bottom, the sides are straight but can still be cut into a curve.

What if you bought a junkyard hood, cut it in two pieces, and installed hinges before the new windshield?
