I experience much fewer leaks when combining both the tape and thread sealant on a connection than when either is used by itself.

Rectorseal
They also make a blue sealant which is for high-vibration applications.

Giving the trailer a look over and I thought about cutting the front access doors down in size since the upper part of the doors is covered by the clear side gap covers. It will also provide easier access to the tailgate by not having to open the front access doors just to git to the tailgate or to anything else. It will provide easier visual inspections of the hitch, safety chains, air shocks, or gap covers without having to open anything or look over the top. I'll have to move the support bar down to the lower level though.
Guess I'll be busy tonight doing some measurements and trimming...

It's really coming together quite nicely! I like how the flash of the camera really shows off the reflective pieces.
It would be a ton more work, but really nice if you put access doors on the side between the trailer and bed, so the airflow has something to flow on. Forgive me if I forgot that you've already done this.
P.S. I didn't chime in yet... I think you should paint the whole thing black, put a big ecomodder sticker on the back from one taillight to the other and a smaller one on each side with a qr code right next to it in case you have somebody who actually cares about qr codes.

Both access doors are done. Just trim and paint in the morning before the rain hits.
I noticed that the truck tail lights are more readily visible to other drivers since the access doors aren't restricting the light as much. I can see more with my reverse lights, too!

Yes, I have clear gap side covers that you should be able to see in the first two piccies.
I'm in the process of rebuilding the upper gap cover that goes between the aero cap and the top of the trailer. This will be built from 1x2 strips and acrylic sheeting. I will make a mock up from Foamular since I have a lot of scrap left over.

Looks like I'm headed back up North again...to Missouri this time in about 3 weeks. It will be interesting to see how this trip will compare to this past summer's trip back in July. I should have the new upper gap cover built by then.
Maybe I'll have the Roadmaster readjusted and the new air shocks installed by then, too!
I know I need to pull the panels off of the aero cap to build in the new radius on them, too!

Throwing some more names out there to name the trailer.
Dark Aero
Night Aero
Aero Shadow/Shadow Aero
Invisible Shadow
I can guarantee how to git people to shoot photos of the truck and trailer if I put a sign that sez...
"No Photos authorized!"
People will do what you want them to if you tell them they can't do it.
