Brake drag reduction clips

So, in general, any ideas how to attach these clips (assuming DIY, made of bicycle spokes) to brakes that where not made for them?

There aren't any mounting holes for the cars I've used them on. I imagine they'd fit any car with a pretty similar rotor size. They essentially sit on the "ears" of the brake pads, with the loop living in the small space between the rotor and caliper.
