This year's fairing is a complete redesign - I can't give away all the awesome specs and how they compare to last year's - but when you put them side by side, the differences are significant That said, I'm happy you liked our work
That arm powered vehicle really needed someone with a big buff upper body - something not so common among engineers :/ It was well build though
Will you be at the next event April 25?

it looks like you're going from a trike back to a recumbent. I won't be at competition, i graduated and moved to Kentucky. The handcycle was designed for Paraplegics and lower limb amputees, they just thought it would be cool to bring it to competition. and they did well, that whole original idea thing. but this years will hopefully be alot better. last year's cycle was built before that drivetrain had ever been installed in a cycle so it wasn't positioned correctly in the frame b/c we didn't know where the best spot should be. the HPV's cycle topped out at 11 mph, i could easily get mine up to 16 mph and then i ran out of gears.

Just wanted to take a moment and let my team mate say something...
Safety is something we all should sometimes think about...

Great photo.
I am sure that Budweisser is a healing tonic and in no way was involved in the original accident.

Trebuchet,
Was that your HPV fairing video on Instructables.com? If so, thanks for posting! Our Solar Car team has been using some of your methods for building our wheel fairings. Good luck in your competition.

It looks awesome... And yes, I'm intentionally NOT posting pictures of the whole thing in its current configuration. This will come soon.
