I bought my first computer in 1984. Any guesses.
I believe the 'i' is for Internet, or al least it was originally. I have an iPod Touch but it needs to be jailbroken.

No that was Windows. And before Tim Cook.
The 1984 Macintosh used a ring of managers (conceptually) while Windows 95 used an hierarchy with a central registry. Major point of failure. Big opportunity for Peter Norton and Norton Utilities. And by extension a career opportunity for me.

For some reason I thought that I had one 16 GB module, but Task Manager shows that I am using 2, presumably 8 each.
So, use half of my RAM, and if it crashes within a week, swap?
I ran Memory Test 86 last night. It took over 3 hours and showed zero errors. Technical support kept saying that it sounded like I had bad memory or graphics until everything passed the test.
Then he told me that everything is fine.
Everything is always fine until it crashes!
I still cannot run all of the Lenovo Diagnostics tests. It still tells me "Test aborted because a system event that could compromise the outcome has happened" when it tries to test the video cards. I asked in the official forums how to remedy that.
I will let you know if I receive a response.

Correct. How frequently have you been experiencing crashes?
The crashes should appear as event ID 6008 in Event Viewer. You can filter for only that event to get a sense of how frequently this occurs.
It's one trick I use to see if my customers are telling me the truth when they say their machine crashes twice a day. It also allows me to see if crashes can be predicted, or if they appear random.

Intermittent failures are the hardest to diagnose.

I didn't share this?
This is since I reinstalled Windows last Friday. The problems were supposed to go away!
Technical support said that this was most likely to happen while playing video games or Zoom. I would love to play WoW until it crashes, but I have too much to do!

Yep, I'm always saying I prefer something to be totally bad instead of mostly good. Fixing totally bad is easy; fixing mostly good is difficult. I spend 90% of my time fixing mostly good.

Apparently Lappy woke up during the night and crashed. I e-mailed technical support. I had asked in the Lenovo forums why I cannot test the video.
I will create a new thread now.
