I was referring to $12,000 for a brand new EV with a warranty.

I guess certified would do though, but am not sure of that yet.

You can get a “Brand New” Kandi k27 for about $5000 through the auction.

GM stopped replacing batteries due to fire danger. Any vehicle that hasn't received the replacement battery already isn't getting one.

An aspect which I noticed about car prices is that, in my country, I see more hatchbacks being used as taxis after a long time they fell out of favor and sedans became more usual.

Ditto for what I saw in spain. Makes the loading of bulky, heavy suitcases much easier

To bad they no longer sell reall station wagons in the USA anymore. That would be my prefference over a hatchback.

The 2025 Camry is supposed to get 55mpg. Imagine what a Camry station wagon would be like. It probably wouldn't get 55mpg, but still, it would be impressive.

I thought my son should have gotten the Magnum SRT-8 instead of the Charger.

GM stopped automatically replacing batteries on 2020 - 2022 Bolts. Instead they get a software update to monitor for a defective battery and $1400.

The 2017 - 2019 Bolts are still eligible for a battery replacement under the recall. (which is the 2020 - 2022 66 kWh battery)

Ah, I misunderstood the forum posts.

I'd want to put 90k miles on the original battery and then get the new, higher capacity one under the recall.

...when I start hunting for used Bolts, I might even favor a 2017 that hasn't had a battery replacement yet. Parent's 2012 Leaf is almost unusable at this point.
