As long as you've had the oil analyzed, and the analysis comes back clean.

No analysis made, the oil is as viscous as new one. Fingerfeeling.

Never changing your oil is like never going to the doctor for a check-up because you feel fine.

Eventually you find out there is a big problem - but by then it's too late to do anything about it...

Can somebody (oil or engine expert) help answer why my engine didnt suffer a single problem since i drove double over the limit what was recommended by the manufacturers. I was supposed to change the oil after 15000 km or 12 months but now i drove 35000 km and 19 months? Catrol Edge Turbodiesel 5W-40. I still continue to drive with the same oil.

What was your CU and FE percentages? Is your finger calibrated for that? Sodium?

Are you afraid of data?

Try not to convince the unconvinceable, they have to learn their lessons the hard way.

Seen to many engines destroyed by negligence.

Be our guest.

It just takes more time than that, but the problems are coming...

Maybe he trades in often so it really isn't an issue... for him.

For me it's just an economics issue. Oil and filters are a lot cheaper than new engines.
