You are right, cruise isn't very efficient but sure is nice on long trips.

Also yes, the HX does have power windows and can have a/c but no 4 doors.

Alright ive been trying to research a bit about my car, if any other hx owner of Honda owner can clarify the markings on my car it would be much appreciated.

From what I can tell the hx had a very limited production run in 1996, or my car was one of the first with a manual transmission as I can only find references to cvt models in car and driver tests

On my drivers side rear lower control arm

No idea what the A stands for, it is one the gas tank and rear shocks and B is on the front shocks*

Holy undercoating! LOL, that craps heavy!

Seriously though, I think you may have a point. I see mostly >97 HX's for sale, can't remember seeing a 96

This should help your car search. Basically find a dealer link in google and replace the vin number in the dealer link with the vin of the vehicle you want to check

That hasn't worked for me in a long time. I'm pretty sure they closed that loophole.

It looks like only a few dealers use it still, so it may be gone quickly

I would actually remove those posts, someone might be lurking forums for just that sort of info
