I always thought the only really good name for an electric car would be "Evelynn" as it would simply be "Evie" (get it? EV!) for short.

the description of it confused me. If pwm signals are pulse width modulated...how is it a smooth running engine, unless I skipped over something. hey. skipped. skipper, call it skipper. el capitan.

It's got a ton of capacitors that smooths out the PWM, and the motor has inductance so the current can't change super fast either because of that I think.

And your switching happens thousands of times a second, much faster than the brushes contact I think.
