The ancient Greeks thought Universe is a dodecahedron, that wraps around to opposing faces like a side-scrolling 8-bit video game. Being a fan of the Platonic solids (and the Archimedian semi-regulars) it sounds as good as anything to me.

Loops Across Space

Adidicosm is a certain kind of three-dimensional space, one of ten platycosms, the name given by the mathematician John Conway[1] to a space that has a finite volume, no boundary, and a flat geometry: the same geometry locally as ordinary Euclidean space. Four of the ten platycosms are non-orientable (a property for which the Möbius strip is the most famous two-dimensional example) which would lead to serious complications if we lived inside such a space, as it would allow matter to be transformed into its own mirror image just by travelling around a loop. The remaining six, including the didicosm, are potentially candidates for the shape of our own universe, if it happens to be finite.[2] (The didicosm is also referred to as a Hantzsche-Wendt Manifold, named after the mathematicians who discovered it in the 1930s, but we will use the name that Conway gave it much later.)

A didicosm can be formed by taking a rectangular prism, as in the image on the right, and “identifying” its faces, so that when you move within the prism to any point on its boundary, you re-enter it at a different point, determined by the way the faces are matched up with each other.

All this is through the frame of Cartesian Coordinates. They get close to Sytnergetics at the end, finding triangulations inside the cube with integer values.

This paper compares the ideas contained in the main papers published on climate change since World War II to arrive at a suggested consensus of our present knowledge regarding climatic changes and their causes. Atmospheric carbon dioxide is only suggested as a cause in one theory, which, despite its wide acceptance by Politicians, the media, and the Public, ignores the findings in other studies, including the ideas found in the Milankovitch Cycles. It also does not explain the well-known NASA map of the changes between the global 1951–1978 and the 2010–2019 mean annual temperatures. The other theories by Oceanographers, Earth scientists, and Geographers fit together to indicate that the variations in climate are the result of differential solar heating of the Earth, resulting in a series of processes redistributing the heat to produce a more uniform range of climates around the surface of the Earth. Key factors are the shape of the Earth and the Milankovitch Cycles, the distribution of land and water bodies, the differences between heating land and water, ocean currents and gateways, air masses, and hurricanes. Low atmospheric carbon dioxide levels during cold events could result in too little of this gas to support photosynthesis in plants, resulting in the extermination of most life on Earth as we know it. The 23 ka Milankovitch cycle has begun to reduce the winter insolation received at the surface of the atmosphere in the mid-latitudes of the Northern Hemisphere starting in 2020. This results in extreme weather as the winter insolation reaching the surface of the atmosphere in the higher latitudes of the Northern Hemisphere decreases while the summer air temperatures increase. It heralds the start of the next glaciation.

According to this, the inflection point was in 2020. I just bought an insulated aircrewmen overall, it will pair well with the E. German sniper suit mummy bag (you can walk around in) and insulated boots. Next I will look for a union suit with sliver threads woven in so I can wear it all for months at a time.
