This is off-topic but it's my thread.

news.ucr.edu/articles: Artificial photosynthesis can produce food without sunshine

Not too surprising to me that electricity can fix molecular structures. What did suprise me is that plants grow in darkness if you feed them.

Plants are growing in complete darkness in an acetate
medium that replaces biological photosynthesis.
(Marcus Harland-Dunaway/UCR)

Well, I guess why not.

Funny how stuff tested in the lab looks like stuff hubble and JamesWeb are seeing.
Probably just a coincidence.....

JamesWeb? I saw this aphorism 'you can't mend a broken mirror' and thought pre-James Webb Space Telescope thinking.

Trick question. A canyon bigger than the Grand Canyon that's below sea level. But if the ice were removed no-one can say whether the rebound would smoothen it out.

Then they get onto what's not under the ice: Kvanefgeld. Rare Earths and Uranium. Lots of Rare Earths and Uranium.

bgr.com/science: MIT scientists think they’ve discovered how to fully reverse climate change
Quote:
The idea revolves heavily around the creation and deployment of several thin film-like silicon bubbles. The “space bubbles” as they refer to them, would be joined together like a raft. Once expanded in space it would be around the same size as Brazil. The bubbles would then provide an extra buffer against the harmful solar radiation that comes from the Sun.
MIT scientists think they’ve discovered Lagrange 1 and have no idea how to engineer a solution.

I as well, but I started with the bolded part.

The only thing I can see going for it is in How To Make Infrared Cooling Paint (Electricity Free Air Conditioning).

Ice snow, for instance, is clear; but with sufficient refraction it becomes white.

Actually ice is still clear, but has multitudes of reflection points aroind the contamination. Afaik, white is a reflection of all colors

I erred. I meant snow appears white.
