black = hotest

white = coolest

therefore, white = less air conditioning demand = better mpg

I wonder what all those windows are about.

Bet the thing leaks like a sieve in a rainstorm.

Thanks for posting this cool truck. Thinking about buying this as a starting point for an off road camper. Anyone had experience with the Toyota 22R 4 banger engine?

Interesting!

Food for thought. Loose that pointy tail where it all hinges. Flat door at that point would be simpler, lighter, keep usable interior space, and focus on attached flow.

Cheers

I believe that's the same engine Toyota put in all those 1970's Class C motorhomes. There weren't that many yet I still see them on the road and chat when I see one in a CG. Very durable.

Cheers

I would think his reasons were for clearance off roading. In Colorado rocks tend to eat fenders, most cut the bottoms off to keep them from snagging.

The 22R is a solid engine that was used in many vehicles. Parts are readily available. It's sorta like a 350, most that work on them have a few laying around. Kinda like saying i need parts for a metro on here

The motor is known as a very reliable motor. Think tractor motor.

I think that camper needs a hippy bus paint job.
