Here's another one: the people in such a rush that they nail the throttle to pass me. Usually in a pickemup or SUV. I am deliberately ignored when I catch up to them at the next light.

Maybe they will get the idea when you pass them 5 times at the next light, only to see them race ahead of you when if they only understood that the next light will not change quickly enough for them. I drive the road enough to know the light timing by heart and 47 MPH CAN get you past over a dozen lights but if you go 50 (45 zone) you will get too close to the next red and the rest of the racer boys are waiting there for the light to change.
Slow down and you get nailed with a yellow that turns red at precisely the wrong moment.
For me the worst lights are newly installed and they are totally tripped and change very quickly especially the one thatmakes you stop and climb a hill to get up to 55 again.
They did change one thing lately. The left turn lights now are flashing with green light on coming traffic (versus very short left only green lights). It allows me to not have to stop and wait for the left urn only light AND I can coast to a point where I don't even have to really slow down to make the turn. What used to take a minute or more now is unbelievably better. 0 MPG or a restart is now a 100 MPG coast. It doesn't get much better than that!

Yoosta be a nice long huge downhill run at the edge of a town but thanks to "development" "growth" and "breeders" traffic got to be such that they put a stoplight in for the cross street right at the bottom of that hill. Inevitably the damned thing is red when you approach it from going downhill. Thanks for nothing, breeders.

I don't get the light timing here. There doesn't seem to be any rhyme or reason to it. Sacramento, CA is the best example I have ever seen. Get on a major road, hit the first light, and you are now timed. Accelerate at a moderate pace to the speed limit, and you can damn near cruise across the whole city uninterrupted. Stray above or below the limit, and you are doomed to red light hell.

Car insurance providers :
My policy auto-renews unless I contact them.
So I email and say "do not do this".
They say "Ok we won't"
And then big computer says "Hi, we will auto renew on..."
I would call them muppets but actually the real muppets seem more sensible. No matter the cost I won't renew with this bunch.

I'm not sure what it is about the local college campus, but it seems to attract idiots. I can't stand idiots. A couple years ago, my Civic was parked at a church on campus and when I came out someone had left a note on it which read, "Your car sucks and it looks stupid." Tonight, I had the Prius parked in a metered street spot on campus, and when I came out a few minutes ago someone had left a note reading, "Police 2 morrow if u dont rent" on the windshield. I'm baffled by this one.
