Yesterday's power outage: Suddenly, the whole neighborhood was quiet again
For a few hours, anyway. Until they cleaned up the SUV and replaced the broken power pole.

Hey, no being sexist here! There are a good number of men who don't understand it either - and at least one who doesn't even want to ;-)

That makes two of us
The Wife and I are planning to be as far away from home as possible just before and during EURO 2012

Another related smile, from so, so long ago
Band 9/10
Music 8/10
Team 3/10
Haircuts 0/10 <-- There isn't a Mullet smiley...
EDIT - Sad fact - Lilly Allen's father wrote this and made all the money, and it was NO's biggest single. Anyway - as you were.

I'm almost done moving. With the exception of 2 extra cars, and 4 motorcycles in a gazebo;
my other possessions in life have been reduced to slightly less than 3 Suburban's full
loads, and with some braveness, I could cut out 2/3rds of that!!!... leaving my life much more
free, and easy. After having a car tire blow up in my face, and my laptop being run over
by a truck; I feel I can live through about anything!!!

You are lucky to survive the blow up I changed truck tires 25 years and survives 3 blow ups, but otherwise have a severely repaired nose missing left index finger and broke the right thumb once not counting toes. My get out of getting killed card is about expired.

Oddly enough, I have played both: football (soccer) in school (in the northeast, where it was the fall sport among smaller schools, too frugal, or too smart, to pay the insurance premiums required for American football), and cricket thanks to having worked at a Silicon Valley research lab where about a third of the employees were from India.
But I didn't understand the rules of either. Just hit or kicked the d*mn ball, and let the rest take car of itself :-)
