Ya, truck drivers have a tough job amongst all the morons out there. Of course, on occasion the truck drivers are morons too, but that's relatively rare. On my recent drive across the country, I'd hang out behind the fast moving rigs (by about 5 or 6 seconds worth... I could see the truck mirrors no problem). Despite being so far back, I could still feel the buffeting, so I knew it was worth it. Though traffic was relatively light, there were times when I could tell the trucker was looking to get into the left lane but fast moving cars wouldn't let him ... So I'd move into the fast lane to slow the traffic and let him in. After about 3 hours of pairing up with a particular truck, he headed off to a rest stop and gave me a wave as I passed by... that was pretty cool...

new tiresand wheels
Swapped out 16x8 factory mags with 235/65-16 tires for a set of16x6.5steelies with 215/85-16 tires and a set of aero racing disc wheelcovers. With half of a tank burned, I've gone from 20+ mpg to23+ (almost 24mpg).

Nice to be posting on here with my laptop, as it was sent to Dell for repairs, and was gone a week.
I have 15/20 vision, but during this last week I didn't enjoy the substitute of using my phone instead.
I think in the future, the eye doctors will have banner days, from all the smart phone users squinting for years worth!

We went to a doctor in a small town when our baby got sick on the way home from vacation. He checked everything and gave us a prescription for a syrop. When we asked if there is a pharmacy near by he said: "It's a few paces to your left as you leave the building." Then he remembered that we're from a large city and added: "You don't have to start the car to get there."
Instead of getting angry for being stereotyped as a caroholic we just smiled. We were genuinely happy that he is trying to teach others not to use their cars just to go to the building next door. It also shows what kind of city-folk he has encountered.
