Do any EVs have radiant floor heat, or just heated seats?
How pedestrian.
Imagine brushing your teeth in the latrine in Basic and a Soldier walks in wearing a gas mask.
How fast would you leave?

The problem with the Arcimoto is that it is a motorcycle. It is not only less useful than a car it also doesn't get the tax credits available for a car. In their home state of Oregon the Arcimoto gets $2500 in incentives while while a car gets $10,000.
$15,200 is a lot to pay for a two seat trike without doors.

How soon would you need to sell an EV you bought new in order to break even?

In the case of the FUV, seats and handlebars. Wear two pair of socks.

They position themselves between motorcycle and car. Pre-FUV models, the SRK, were sold at $30K, the Evergreens at $20K, their target price point is $12.9K, and some (it's been said) mutter under their breath about $10K.

Acrimoto needs to hit $9,999 for a profit to sustain itself. I'm pessimistic, not because the vehicle isn't a hoot, or because I dislike local business, but because of reality. You can pick up a used Leaf for $4k these days, and it keeps you dry regardless of the freezing rain (currently).
My parents now have a '12 Leaf and it suits them well, though currently they are unable to open the charger flap because it's in a layer of ice.

That was one frequent problem I had with my Leaf. What's worse is when you can't get the EVSE out of the port because it's full of ice. And once you do there's no way of closing the door. I think these EV's need a different type of charge connection than something that imitates an ICEV's fuel door, and putting it on the front where all the water is going to run off the hood right into it is a bad design. The only good thing about it is that you don't have to back in or need a long cord to charge.
The only way these charge doors make sense is if in the future there'll be a way to rapid charge for just a few minutes. But for all night charging out in the open during the winter it's a bad design.

I have a picture of the fuel tank door on my Accord covered in ice. I took it through the car wash to melt the ice and it removed some paint from my back bumper, but the Gorilla Tape on the front laughed it off.

PGE says power will be restored 15 min ago. You think it might happen? My grandmother thinks so. I’m guessing middle of the week at best. 20% of houses have their power lines on the road, with tree branches covering them.
We’ve got full power thanks to a spare generator my dad had. Got $100k of vaccines in our fridge since the clinic power is out. Spent yesterday clearing roads. Plan to do the same tomorrow. Intermittent cell reception.

I prefer the antithesis; have fun! Disaster is where I thrive, and order is where I die a slow and quiet death.
Hey, 2 posts; internet is getting more reliable, not to mention text and calls.
