Not to mention all the little beads that will go down into the defroster ducts.

I can remember thirteen specific occasions I have been pulled over in twenty years of driving. I think this is the second time I drew their attention by not speeding. One time an Officer told me that I was reckless to drive slower than traffic, making everyone go around me!
I have had at least two tickets for driving 5 - 10 miles an hour over. I cannot drive at or below. I cannot drive over. As far as I can tell, the only way to avoid a speeding ticket is to have a chauffeur.
I for one welcome our new robotic overlords!

You guys are no fun! This video proves you cannot break a windshield with a normal hammer!
You need a ridiculous sledge hammer to break a windshield!

Not caring about privacy, because you have nothing to hide is like not caring about freedom of speech because you have nothing to say.

What are you people keeping on your phone your so worried about?
If a police officer wants to take a look just let them, if you argue it just makes you look suspicious.

it's about connections. everyone knows someone who has done something. Without connections, if you are ever accused of doing something, you have reasonable doubt on your side. With connections, even if you didn't know you had, doubt is against you.

I am only concerned about two things on my phone: Confidential work-related information and personal information. I am not actually worried about law enforcement accessing either of those, but if there are a dozen million-to-one risks, and they go away by carrying a tiny piece of paper, I will go that route.

For my state, the Revised Code of Washington is a 28 volume publication filled with tens (hundreds?) of thousands of carefully worded laws. I try not to break any of them, but can I really be sure I'm not in violation of at least one? Especially when I don't know all of them? I'm sure your state is similar, and that's not even including federal laws.
I'd rather not accidentally hand over incriminating evidence of some infraction I wasn't even aware I did.

Better safe than sorry. I always lock my computer and phone when I step away, even at home.

When I stepped out of the shower and found my Sergeant on my laptop I created a guest account. He was not doing anything nefarious and I did not have anything specific to hide, it just seemed better to keep him out of the deep end of the sandbox.

I'd never thought of a digital version. Privacy was my first concern. No thank you, Mr. LEO. Second, I don't know that I could easily access them anyway. Plus my company sends the cards via US mail anyway.
