Some finalizations are soon made to the aero planning. (Pic in blog)
Lookin' smooth here. If I just had the energy to remove the roof rack

No noticeable MPG drop over time, but my driving is very mixed. (I have no consistent commuting, as i'm jobless right now-)
Winter also kicks in at November here.

Mine are comming off next summer. I think I have some water ingress between the rails and roof, so that is my main reason for removal.
I'm hoping to make some holes in the roof liner and find easily removable hole fillers, so that if need be the rails can quickly be re-fitted.

Still looks a lot like the Argentinian engine.

you should find a pic of the Argentinian one. This debuted in the Samara, however.
"Top-side valve", non-crossflow head with a single cam, featuring shimmed buckets.

I thought about buying a adjustable cam gear, I need some advice on that too.
Probably plays well with RE85 conversion (which I haven't done yet)

Even though the bore and stroke won't match, they do look similar.

The Fiat seems to have the pump span by the alt belt, Vaz has it by the cam belt. But the layout is pretty much else same, except the VAZ/lada has a less-round block
