BIG bummer about the car. I'm also curious for an update.

This sentence certainly caught my interest though:

Will's CRXfi will be mine soon

Hello everybody! I'm back! I have missed all of y'all! I took a hiatus before Christmas to focus more on family and the holidays. Then the job search has gone from bad to worse... seems like I'm either too qualified or don't have enough experience for a position but! I'm still truckin' away. I live with my daddy now (unsure if I have mentioned this), and there is no Wi-Fi out there... so no laptop. Using a smartphone to access the website is a hassle as well. The spell check is bonkers!

Anyways, time to answer some questions and get some updates in!

Have you got it back on the road yet?
Oh yeah Josh! It was never off the road, the damage was purely cosmetic. I found some duct tape @ Lowe's that matched my tractor paint-paint job! So I used that to cover the holes and cracks, while using wire to keep the bumper from sagging and to hold the fender cover back off the tire. So far, so good! Tygen is sending me the parts I need to make the car look somewhat normal, at least damage free

Yep, I have talked with Will and we have agreed on the terms and conditions of the CRXfi. It is sad story though... With no job, I do not have the income to go get the car, pay Will and get it back to NC I have considered selling the Ensightscort in order to get the CRXfi... easier said than done though! Will has been very patient with me, so shout-out to him for being a standup gentleman

The ZX2 is still doing well though. It is closing in on 288,000 miles and still getting mid to upper 40's for tank averages. I'm slowly getting lean burn to work for me, but there will have to be some changes for it to work very well. Most notably are LRR's, zeroed alignment and a 2-3" drop, along with more aero mods. I still plan on designing a full boat tail eventually and going for sub-0.20 Cd territory

Edit: BTW! Did y'all see this?! Number 6 on the Most Popular of 2015! Woohoo!

BabyDiesel nice build thread, I enjoyed reading through it the past few days! I am looking to improve my aerodynamics soon, I am going to reference your thread as I build mine out. Glad you are okay from the accident. There are a lot of deer between my house and my in-laws.

Thank you for the kind words Zach! And I appreciate the recognition I will receive Making your aero better pays for itself many times over!

The ZX2 is still doing well. The front bumper is still duct taped, but it is knocking down hybrid-like mileage with relative ease. I really want to work on the car and improve on it, but it still too cold to do much! A heated garage is definitely on my wish list.

I have got a job now! It is with a pest control company, M-F, full time. So "life" has come and is taking me away from y'all, fishing and everything else... boo. At least I'll have money after next week!

I hope that you enjoy pest control for as long as you pursue it.

I interviewed two years ago for a position doing that and never heard back. Was I over-qualified or under?

I do not know if I would have enjoyed it, but if it was stable work, it would have been far more money than baking was, although conceivably not quite as healthy.

I read that if you are over-qualified for a job, to edit your résumé to downplay counterproductive qualifications, or simply omit them, but someone mentioned that you often have gaps that are difficult to explain. What did I do for those two years?

I was in a coma.

Oh, those twelve months?

I was abducted by aliens.

Hello my fellow eco-nutz long time since I've been on here.

A lot has changed since January/February. I broke of the engagement to my now ex-fiance 2 days after Valentine's Day. I immediately started talking to a woman out in Missouri and a few months later, moved here to forge a life with her and her 5 kids. Lo and behold, things would not last. I got kicked out Wednesday night. I packed up all my stuff in the ZX2 and moved into a RV by a friend I've made since moving here.

Pure Craziness.

Through all this mess, I kinda let the car go in certain ways. I drove for a long time with my fender skirts and wheel covers off due to getting so many flat tires )lots of dirt roads here in S. Mizzou), inside got dirty, late oil change, on and on. I wasn't really driving for economy anymore, as I valued sleep over leaving early due the stress of 5 young ones. So my mpgs have been mid to upper 30's for the longest time, until a few weeks ago I started back at it and have had back-to-back tanks at 42+ mpg

I've been considering selling this car too. I've not kept my word I gave WonderBoy about his CRXfi, and that bothers me even now.
