Odd. We got both the 2-door and 4-door hatch AND the sedan.
It's the old "Americans don't like hatchbacks" story again.

I didn't hear back from the owner about setting up a time to see it. He works nights, so we'll see if there's anything in my inbox in the AM.

It'll be next winter's beater. (Stocking up early! I still haven't sold last winter's beater.)
I'll post a thread about the Echo soon. EDIT here it is: http://ecomodder.com/forum/showthrea...ase-33736.html

This may have already been mentioned but the Honda insight can be had for cheap. I got mine for 1,000 because the person though it needed a new battery but it actually just needed a couple wires replaced. If it has body damage or high miles it can be had for around 1,000 also. pretty good for a car that has so much potential.

Somewhat tempting. Price is right. Miles are high. I miss my old 97 Paseo though. EPA highway is only 31 on this car, yet I my best tank with the 97 was 72 mpg. Of course the 97 was OBDII and a newer engine design... Still tempting. But I'm really not looking for another project.

600 as is, price is negotiable, good for back and fourth to work, I used it for a short time until I bought a truck, pretty reliable. CASH ONLY. Thank you.

If I'm ever going to buy another non-OBD-II vehicle, it's gonna be way older than that.

Won't drive seeing the clutch cable not hooked up. hole in the driver side floor pan. passenger rear fender. quarter sized hole in one of the shock towers. definitely repairable. has a cap on the bed. I'll have to put the whole ads up later. But I found a couple of decent three banger Metros, both with stick. One for $750 which needs a little work, the other a driver for $1000.

2000 Honda Insight - Insight Central: Honda Insight Forum
Red 2000 Insight 5mt, $1750 obo, 184k miles.
Seems like it has the standard bad second gear synchro and the hybrid battery needs to be grid charged, replaced, or removed.
