I figure it's a blessing in disguise about the shipping costs, or I'd have a yard full of eco-cars from this guy I know...

For sale: electric tow truck
ForkenSwift does some light towing...
(I'm converting a 24 ft tandem axle travel trailer frame into a sailboat trailer.)
Buy me!

These trailer pics make me laugh.
(The sight made a lot of other guys laugh around the workshop, too.)

$750 -- come and get it!
Unethically outdated photo of a much shinier and much less rusty ForkenSwift
I went to move the ForkenSwift yesterday and... no brakes.
Rust, I assume. That seals its fate! It's not going back on the road this summer.
So!
Anybody want a low/medium speed electric car kit in a rusty blue box?
The car itself probably isn't worth fixing (floor), and I plan to keep some glass/panels/doors etc. for the Firefly convertible I have in cryogenic storage, awaiting restoration.
But you can tow/trailer the shell home with all the guts in place. $750! Do it! You know you want to. Another Suzuki/Metro clone platform in good shape would make for a plug 'n' play swap.

Is it that hard to replace seals and pistons? Just curious.

It's more likely corrosion on the brake lines under the car that lead to a fluid leak.
