I looked up {reverse trike} on Alibaba and they were mostly open cabin. They were mostly 250 or 300 cc. Elio could put his body on those and have that all done in a month. Huge factory photo was taken in China somewhere! Many questions about "renaming" these vehicles were answered on that site; and yes- they could become Elios in the US.

None of my photos went through on my last post, so I will not try this time!

That vehicle is too small for side-by-side seating. The balance on side-hills will be precarious.

Hmmm. Tandem seating, electric for economy, windshield on a roll cage; I'd put money down on that.
________

That Mini 'Hardtop' has door posts. ?!?

Yeah, where you going to find something like that? LOL!

I did take my Forester up a road yesterday with 1.5' deep ruts in it and was suddenly glad I had 4 wheels not 3. I rode the middle and the edge hoping I didn't fall in them. I do think the Arcimoto is the dream national park machine. now they are all paved and crowded but how nice a silent open aired vehicle be. I hope they end up renting them in Yellowstone, give them the idea next time you talk to them for me.

I don't remember to have ever seen a fully-enclosed reverse trike on Alibaba, but many conventional trikes had a cabin.

They were mostly 250 or 300 cc.
With some decent aerodynamic work, and suitable gearing, that would be enought for a small reverse trike to sustain speeds compatible with the traffic.

Just drop an EPA-certified engine and DOT-approved glasses and call it a day...

A sleek, efficient operation like Unrealio ain't got no use for frivolous decoration.

The other thing was that the factory churns out 7 colors times two transmissions and nothing else. These go to seven regional fulfillment centers where the 'dealer-installed' options are installed. Daily between 9pm and midnight. For delivery the last 900 miles.
Is the credit card program happening?

The current page talks (in none-quotable kinetic typography) about Apps, Wraps and Enhanced Audio; and Elio Accessories (They're coming)—Make it your own—Design it—Let the world know—It's your Elio.

It sounds to me like they are trying to get their arms around the aftermarket possibilities with some Local Motors clone. Starting with vinyl wraps, good money in that.

Their tee shirt division is ready to start full production. Vehicles? Not so much.
