Many people used to think that way in Cuba and at a later stage in Venezuela. Sometimes we may not really fall in love with politics, yet having the chance to learn from the mistakes of other people/countries is something to consider while voting.

Exactly, it's all pointless. The USA and every other country will eventually end up like Cuba and Venezuela.

The two choices in the USA are: the candidate that some say supports HAMAS, and the other that some say supports Russia and North Korea. Which do I choose?

That's a fatal flaw of our system; that it delivers only 2 options that only a handful of crazy people want.

Until ranked-choice voting is implemented, we will forever be stuck choosing between Tweedledee or Tweedledum.

The real fatal flaw is that too much authority is concentrated in the place it should be least concentrated; the federal government and especially the executive branch. Why is 25% of our income going across the country to a tiny area called DC, but only 9% is going to local government? That's exactly backwards.

Nov 9, 2023 The quote by Pericles, "Just because you do not take an interest in politics, doesn't mean politics won't take an interest in you," holds significant meaning and importance in highlighting the impact of politics on the lives of individuals. In a straightforward sense, Pericles emphasizes that

Why? I'm not the one making all those claims. It's always the other party that makes those claims. And I never see any hard evidence for any of it, which means each one has to be their own private investigator to come to solid conclusions. But personally I've stopped playing armchair private investigator. I'd rather toy with cars and be happy as long as I can until we fall under some sort of dictatorship that all parties claim is what the other party's going to do.
