By the way, here in Canada, it's easy to get a right hand drive CRX from Japan; kids just swap some left hand drive component from a junked car and voilą. cars from japan are low mileage and rust free.

added the roofline transition piece to the hatch angle.. this smooths the air moving acros the rear window.. simply a piece of foam resined down to the roof solidly and then sanded down to the shape wanted.. then resined over... the foam im using has fibers in it that make it realy stron kind of like fiber glass actually ..

Dude, I just want to say !YOU ROCK! Keep it up. You know I work with a lot of guys who drive BIG trucks as if it is a test to their manlyness. They complain about gas and diesel prices all day long. Are they trying to conserve fuel or sell that hugh truck and buy a hybrid or a gas sipping car? No. For you to even attempt this project is astonishing. In fact we all deserve kudos for trying anything! But you my friend are my hero.

Good job!

Now put NOS stickers on it so the young kids will thank you are cool. =P

I agree on the tuft testing ! We all would like to see some tests.

( It would also be interesting to see some tufts at the back end of the car to visualize the vortex back there, ..where the tail light are .)

let me get the rear end finalized and ill do some tufts.. i have a feeling the rear underside is dropping some air, just a hunch but than again there is not under body panels yet so its probably not doing much in the rear underside yet..

I've been wanting to do that too. Mathed it all out and everything; it should work just fine. I wonder how theirs is working out.

plus it lets you make a vehicle that the back can come to a knife edge.. should be low drag, could look really good.. did you come to any conclusions on how far back the single rear wheel should be compared to the position of the original rear axle.. I am thinking about problems with rear squat on acceleration.
