You beat me to it... Saw my wife looking at it, went here, top post!

Here's a longer version of the same incident:

According to the poster the reckless idiot fled the scene but got caught later on.

Funny how he was in a big enough hurry to tailgate and get upset, but was in no hurry when he pulled alongside and gave the finger.

The person taking the video was going 50 in the left lane. Wonder what the speed limit was on that 4 lame divided highway? Law says slower traffic move right, but it looks like the Moron in the truck passed on the right before they could pull over.

Looked again, from what you can see the cab over truck, in the right lane, had fallen behind enough for them to move to the right lane. He also dropped back, or they sped up before they moved the lens to their own dash.

Third look , there was another vehicle in front of the cab over. Clown got what he deserved. If the speed limit was 55-60 (speedo in MPH) then they should have sped up and pulled over. I have jerks like that on my 6 every day. I usually try to let them get aroud safely, even though I would like to see that happen to some of them who get so close I can read the month on their license plate in my rear view mirror. He pulled over in front of them so close they could have been tangled up in the accident.

Mech

Thats tailgating? I have people who pull so close you cant see the grill, just part of the hood and the fool behind the wheel.

I don't approve of revenge but if the universe intercedes on your behalf, go with it.

That, and just desserts taste just a little bitter.

There have been times when I've been behind holier-than-thou 'left lane hogs' that hold up the flow of traffic even though they are doing the speed limit. There have been times when I have passed them by using the right lane to get around them and get out in front of them. However, safety is paramount.

But this guy had time to waste, once alongside, to give the finger. Revenge was his motive, not going his way quickly but safely, and staying out of trouble. He was looking for trouble, and he got what he deserved.

This is what happens when a road hog meets a hothead. There is no shortage of idiot drivers in America.

I have known a couple of people who had an SUV tailgate, the drivers decided to speed up, but the larger vehicles simply tailgated at the higher speed, until they turned on some pretty lights.

I have had plenty of trucks and SUVs tailgate me so close that I can only see their windshield, grill, headlights, or whatever.

Congratulations, you know how to turn on your brights. I know how to adjust my mirrors. I just wish that I could adjust them to shine the headlights back at the driver. Regarding unmarked police vehicles and entrapment, I have always wondered, if it was daytime, they got close enough that you could see unlit lights under their grill, and you had a passenger, could you have them call 911 and say "We are driving [direction] on [street], driving [speed limit], and there is an unmarked police car so close that I can see the lights they are waiting to turn on. Will you please tell them to back off? They are making us nervous!"
