That green thingie looks awesome. Personally i would do something to those "low hanging fruit" exhaust pipes.

At least poke them through the bumper bracket cut-outs. Overall it's weird mix of Mad Max and bling.

4 into 1 header with glasspacks is lame, gloss/satin twotone and billet tail lights don't match with the nerf bars and wheel/tire. The offroad wheel travel is severely limited by the stock fenders.

Compare a genuine Kommandeurswagen:

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Volksw...mmandeurswagen

North Africa got the Kronprinzräder wheels and tires. They welded metal strips on the inside of the fenders to get a wide body.

edit:
I saw this in an other thread; just pointing out that the short-nose Squareback is one of the bestest body styles. This is possibly my favorite one, and I knew the guy ten years ago.

Just A Car Guy: VW discovered a 1953 T1 van that had been stored away for 54 years, it's remarkable because it was one of the earliest radar speed trap training vehicles using the Telefunken VRG2 traffic radar from 1961 to 1964

Note the big back window above the barn door.

Just A Car Guy: eye candy from the 'what if Herbie had went F1'? imagination

I call shenanigans. A 1303 windshield and headlights with horn grilles and a Wolfsburg crest?

edit:
I think this is awesome. I need to de-rust the body of my 1958 Baja, and I need schooling.

I think it's a good sign that the post-Millennial [post-Zoomer?] generation is thinking about conserving and restoring old Beetles.

They don't show the motor.

I can't tell if that's orange peel in the gloss coat or artifacting in the video.

It's not the Woodruff Special, the wheels and exhaust don't match
