Nowadays, partly due to foreign collectors looking for some Brazilian VWs, it's not so easy to find something that's both affordable and in a good shape.

The game plan is to complete a canopy under a tree that I can move the 1958 Beetle to, then the Superbeetle goes into the carport so I can take the insurance off of it and the Dasher becomes the daily driver and up for sale.
Life is complicated. It probably only needs an hour or two on the charger, but I need to deal with the oil pressure indicator and the thermostat at the bottom of the radiator to progress from running to drivable.

I had a pair of those wheels (in chrome) on a Type III I bought and resold. I've never seen any others elsewhere.
Part 2 for an interior walkthrough. I think it's a different example. They have an Ecomodder-approved taper in plan.

Not with chrome, but these are all over here.
