I like this. A lot!

I'm wondering if it's even real. There is a perfectly matched fade from blue to red at https://youtu.be/BfECyImrU5I?t=77

I take a more conservative approach to widebody conversions, as they were not so usual during the Karmann-Ghia production run.

I bought and gave my son a Karmann Ghia that had all four wheel well rotted out. He disrespected it and gave it away but that's another story.

It would have been a perfect candidate to a wide-body conversion. And I like this one for the time-attack style open backsides. The edge of the fiberglass filleting out to the same curve as the fender-line is genius.

Still don't know if it's two different cars with a perfectly aligned fade, or all CGI. Woks with or without the engine lid.

Thanx. Makes me want to un-Baja my 1958 Beetle. Maybe without the wide body, just the front air dam and rear spoiler, but in Koral Rot.

At least he didn't lowered and tried to fit oversized wheels on that

Well, only if he knew what a Karmann-Ghia is worth nowadays...

Actually where I live, (central US) I've had chances to buy a couple Karmann-Ghia's cheaper than beetles. I've also even seen VW vans cheaper than beetles... which I should have bought instead of my desire to make/buy a panel beetle!
