I can't believe I missed all these pics. Sweet looking car. Very clean, & kinda sleek in silver with the moon caps. Also admire your engine work. Gotta get one of those crane/lift things one day... love the excuses for the tools...

Thanks for the compliments!
I like the simple, clean, uncluttered look. That was as much a reason for getting rid of the spoiler as for aero. I also debadged the "Civic" from the trunk (Can't remove the "H" without leaving holes). That applies to the interior too (notice my plain, aluminum shift knob and stealthy kill switch). The tint is nice, but it was that way when I got it. Other than not being red, it's starting to look a lot like Vman455's Civic.
One thing that has bugged me since I bought it is the DC sticker:
there is a big hole behind it...
I haven't found an inexpensive replacement bumper cover or come up with a better sticker to cover the hole instead. I'm leaning towards a 1-Up sticker unless I come up with something better.
The engine hoist has gotten a lot of use out of the years. Many engines and it occasionally comes in handy for changing the front tire of my motorcycle.

I was just thinking that, looking through you pictures. Ditch the mirrors and you've got it! (Except you have to keep the driver's mirror in Washington, I believe).

Actually, with the tinted windows I'm required to have both in Washington:

Well, I have thought about ditching one anyways. I doubt I'd ever get noticed. Or maybe figure out a way to reduce their profile.
I have some spousal concerns about doing it too. She is far more likely to notice than the cops.

Not really eco related, but I finally "fixed" my muffler problem.
Last April my muffler, um, fell off. A casualty of rust. It really wasn't too loud, far quieter than your typical fart can, so I didn't worry about it.
Well, I need to get through emissions testing, so I figured I needed to address it. So, I welded a little pipe and a turndown back on it. With the turndown, it's a little quieter yet, so it will probably stay this way.
Oh, I just noticed you can see my fancy, home-made ramps too.

I have that same turndown just laying around the garage. Next time, no muffler, just a straight pipe, like this.

I enjoyed this thread! I was looking for a set of HX wheels but may have to copy your moon eyes xD
Very nice set of shocks, Koni/GC combo ftw!
