I think I may try a front end similar to the new Camero. Looks to be a good starting point, and I will see what it does.

The hood scoop reduces the road load of the Camaro by approx. 150-hp when compare to the exposed supercharger.

Looking at it from a front perspective makes it look less bad. All the frontal area of the scoop is already covered by the windshield. It's changing the shape of the front, but not the area. It might be a problem in a crosswind, though.

What do you mean by road load?

As awesome as it would look, I have no desire to have an intake that freakin big on my little car. I was actually talking about something similar to the new camero front end. I have already swapped mirrors and that made a huge difference. HMMMMMM, sharp edges or smooth. I wonder?

Okay so back to the big debate. Using a full underskirt, which is a better bumper: using the stock bumper with fillers, using a flat front with sharp breaks, or using a rounded over/wedge bumper? I have seen impressive results on all of them on this site. I am currently getting almost 40 mpg, so I would love to see at least 55 consistently.

Working on installing the front bumper from my totaled Frontier onto my Sentra. I have some holes to plug, and a little bit of fitment work to do. Should work out pretty good as it is about 5" taller than my stock bumper.

Many European countries have strict laws about pedestrian safety which may have much to do with the current trend to upright front ends. However, car companies are now radically curving the sides of the bumper toward the front wheels at the same time.

IMHO if you can get your car to look closest to the Impact concept, the better. So, smooth, gently rounded is best. Post a photo of the finished one?

I'm currently modifying the old Frontier bumper and filling the holes. It had the broad flat front with rounded corners. I will see how it comes out before I mount it and definately post pictures of the finished product.
