My first 2 aero mods done!

This is the passenger side mirror before:

And after about an hour:

Here is the wipers before:

And after:

I figure that if it looks like I am going to need the wipers, its like 1-2 minutes to put them on tops, and I engraved them so I know which one is drivers and passengers side at a glance. Tomorrow its the rear skirts! All the metal block off plates and what not are road signs that have been cut and massaged into the right shapes. They cut easily and are light weight. Thanks for looking!

lol, funny you mention that. I took it out 'temporarly' to install my amplifier and haven't put it back. I am going to take out all the seats but the drivers and use it just as a hauler. I will weigh everything I remove in the end. Hows that kammback coming?

I took the day off to play at a cottage. I'll be back on the job tomorrow though.

My car's currently only got the driver's seat in it too.

That side-mirror delete is uber-clean! What is the rubber trim around the metal triangle?

The rubber trim is the trim off the mirror, I just pulled it off, made a template out of paper that fit the rubber gasket, then made a hard plastic template, and then transfered that one to one of my road signs. All in all took me about an hour. The screws are stainless to prevent rusting, those were .97 cents at the hardware store, and mounted through the same holes as the mirror mounted. I could have used 3 screws, but even 2 is super secure. Thanks for the positive comments. Starting on the skirts after church!

Very nicely done Slap a little paint on it and you probably wouldn't even
notice it's gone.
