Phil - glad to hear you're recovering well after going under the knife.

Bummer that you've been out of work so long, but I suspect you're living off savings accumulated from not spending as much on fuel through the years as you might have otherwise.

savings

Yes,exactly.
The vehicles and home have very low Coefficients of Dollar transfer so I'm able to stretch things rather far.
Which is perfect for a lunatic like myself, who's attempting to vibrate way beyond my assigned frequency.

When I stare at the bottom left picture long enough I notice plan taper. Door's on the back, right?

Rock on.
Thanks, yes,I believe there's a smidgeon of taper, and from the available images, one would have to deduce that access was from the tail.
Not a lot to go on.

I think there's a little taper bottom to top in the lower section, too. Probably to accommodate tapered ribs to stiffen it in the direction the curve doesn't help.

The Beetle tire is ~2ft in diameter, that make the overall length ~8ft. Two 5x10ft sheets of PolyMetal or MaxMetal, cut into 2 and 3ft strips would skin it.

It reminds me of a smaller, more manageable Airstream Basecamp.
