I joined the second group buy on IC for one of those accord EGR valve. I think you can still join the group, the buyer didn't received the batch yet and there are still some places available.

Be advised, the new EGR valve I got from the first IC sale didn't really do anything for my car other than it looks nicer! Mine wasn't really jerking much at low load anyway, but a new one will help if yours is really bucking.
I'm gonna toss my old OEM one by the end of the week if nobody wants it.

Mine has a little jerking sometime when I am in 1st, 2nd and 3rd gear at 50-60 LOD and 14-16 TPS on the SGII. But anyway I want to do the EGR cleanup and at the same time I'll put the Accord EGR valve with a new gasket.
I have also thinked of cleaning the O2 sensors, this can be another source of herky-jerky. Anybody did that?

That's why I created the team, I figured we'd end up being #1 at some point!
I'm still struggling to get back over 70 mpg myself, but I haven't been using my battery tender nightly like I swore I would. I also carpool almost daily, so it hurts a little on the Insight's mpg (since I do a lot of stop and start through town) but it saves me a ton of gas money in the end!
FYI: Along with that OEM EGR valve I have sitting around waiting for somebody to show interest in, I'm also getting ready to remove the throttle smoothing circuit if anybody is interested in that. It does keep the throttle from jumping around, but it also seems to keep the revs up for a second longer than normal, so I think it's actually hurting my mpg.
Once again, this is also up for grabs to whoever wants it for the cost of shipping, which should only be a couple of bucks. I think I still have the paperwork on the installation procedure, too. Maybe one of you guys will have better luck with it then I did

I would love to take it off your hands! I have wanted to try it out for a while now. You should already have my address. How's $5 for shipping?

Yeah that's cool, I can't see it being any more than that. PM me your address, I looked in my CP and don't see that I have it. I'll pull it off the car this weekend and try to throw it in the mail Saturday.
Anybody want that EGR valve?

Hopefully going to buy a second Insight this weekend. Another Silver 2000 MT, with about 20,000 less miles than Turtle, a rebuilt trans, OEM tires, a bunch of new parts (weak IMA though, so maybe he'll throw in the grid charger). My kid was interested, I think he's too cheap to actually buy it, but I'm not!
Depending on it's condition I'll either swap Turtle's mods onto it and keep it, or swap the better parts of that one onto Turtle and then sell it. I don't think it's feasible to keep both, but I wouldn't mind upgrading some of Turtle's parts and re-selling it for whatever I pay for it.

Turtle has quite a few miles, but so long as he's not burning oil, I can't see a compelling reason for the switch, other than perhaps getting rid of the downshift grind. Let us know what you decide to do, with pics!
