He's got his subjective preferences just like anyone else. He doesn't like pugs, for instance. Just so happens I don't either, not that I hate them, but it was cruel to breed them to have such difficulty breathing and be hideously ugly.

I'd say (respectfully) that that is the thread topic, and if he doesn't like it there are other threads that might interest him more.

Good one.

In other news, it's reported by Gloria Borger that due to the political showdown between India and Pakistan, Pakistanis are unsubscribing from T-series and subscribing to PewDiePie.

And not a moment too soon.

Would you dare talk back to uncle Jordan???

About movies and green power. Had you noticed that in Blade Runner 2049 they still use our old solar concentrator farms to generate lectricity???
Maybe their receiver (where concentrated sun light spots) it's a advanced very high efficience photovoltaic. But we should supose that in 2049 they would have something better, like fusion, clean nuclear etc...

After all, in the movie fantasy they had flying cars since 2019 or before (saince it was popular), and it wasn't propelled by air.

I haven't made it through 2049 yet. Tough to get more efficient than solar concentrators. Perhaps we'll have more nuclear power by then, but I doubt it'll be fusion. There's no guarantee that nut will be cracked.

What you're misunderstanding about Jordan is that we can appreciate his thought process in arriving at the bottom conceivable level of something without pledging allegiance to all things Jordan for all of time.

In other words, his ideas stand on their own, and I don't need to belong to a Jordan family. I have my own family and I'm much closer to them. In fact, I've never communicated with Jordan at all.

You seem to have contempt for the guy in general; yet not for any particular idea. The biggest complaint you've leveled is that he's careful in what he says so that he can't be snared, which you find to be evidence of someone hiding a nefarious agenda.

These? Gloria Borger is PewDiePie. Why do I have to explain this? Do you know who you're calling an idiot?

Sure. I think he does fine with people who don't say stupid things.

Lest I sound harsh, here's something ontopic. Blade Runner 2049 has some slow parts, like those big statues in a windstorm, but it explores the same cyborgs-have-feeling-too territory as Alita: Battle Angel and Ex Machina.
